We're callin’ all Forks of the Delaware Scouts to join the fun!
DATE: Saturday, January 20, 2018. Rain, Snow or Shine!
TIME: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (set-up can start as early as 10:00 AM)
COST: $10.00 which includes patch!
LOCATION: Saints Philip and James School, 137 Roseberry St, Phillipsburg, NJ.
DIRECTIONS: From PA, take Rt. 22 east into Phillipsburg, NJ. Follow Route 22 approximately 1 mile to Roseberry Street North Exit. Travel north on Roseberry Street for about ¼ mile to entrance of school.
All Scouts can attend!
CUBS – Play games and earn gold nuggets! You can cash in your gold nuggets at the Trading Post for snacks and hot drinks. Everyone is a winner! And don’t forget to enter the famous guessing game for a chance to win fun prizes!
TROOPS & CREWS – Try your luck at the Annual outdoor "Leave No Trace" cook-off! Bring your own supplies & stoves. The prized Golden Skillet will be awarded for the best camp cookin’ in the district. Try your luck at chili or any other good eats.
ALL UNITS: Each Pack is asked to bring at least one activity. Troops and Crews are also encouraged to bring an activity. All activities should be designed for FUN for the Cubs. You can use activities right out of your Cub Scout Handbooks or design your own! If the activity satisfies a Cub Scout requirement, please indicate on a sign. Past events have included tin can tundra, mouse trap fishin’, mini golf, ice hockey, knot tyin’ and much more.
This event is held OUTDOORS, rain, snow or shine. It is usually VERY cold! Blizzards or ice storms may require rescheduling to Feb 24. Organizers will call all registered units by 8:00 am on January 20rd if safety becomes an issue.
REGISTRATION: Registration and payment for your Unit are due by January 15th
