Welding Merit Badge Event

Registration deadline is October 19, 2018.  If the balance is not paid in-full at the Council Service Center by 10/19, the registration slot will be given to another Scout on the Waiting List.  Payment may be made in-person, via postal mail, or contacting the Council Receptionist at 610-264-8551 to pay via credit card.

This event is open to the FIRST 18 BOY SCOUTS

Cost is $25 per Scout (includes lunch)
 

• Learn about welding safety, hazards, and terms
• Experience welding in virtual reality
• Actually practice skills under the supervision of an instructor
• Take home your creation and earn the merit badge!

** For safety purposes, all participants MUST be 12 years of age or older and wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and boots **

• Scouts must bring to the event their merit badge blue card already signed by their Scoutmaster

  • blank Welding Merit Badge
  • completed Welding Merit Badge
• Scouts are required to print the blank form, copy the provided answers by HANDWRITING onto the blank version, and bring to the event
• Handwritten workbooks will be checked and reviewed by event staff -- for Scouts to receive credit, their copied work must be provided the day of the event
