Anthracite Fall Wilderness Survival Camporee
for Cub & Scouts,BSA Units
October 4th – October 6th
Cost per person youth or adult (Youth 4 or younger are Free) based on meal option chosen.

Cost will cover camping fees, administrative costs, patch, and meals depending on the meal plan chosen.
All registered and paid youth and adults will receive a commemorative patch
Location: Settlers Camp, Trexler Scout Reservation
288 Camp Trexler Rd, Kunkletown PA
Check-in
Friday from 5-8 PM at the Settlers Dining Hall
Saturday Arrivals will Check-in at the Settlers Dining Hall 7-10 AM
EVENT DETAIL
All units will be camping at camp sites on the Settlers side of Trexler Scout Reservation.
Tents are the responsibility of the individual units.
In case of extreme weather cabin accommodations could be made available.
There will be two meal options with independent event pricing
#1 ALL MEALS PREPARED BY UNITS INDEPENDENTLY IN SITES $5 per participant
#2 SATURDAY MEALS PROVIDED AT THE SETTLERS DINING HALL $15 per participant

**note all meals for Friday evening and Sunday morning are the responsibility of the individual units.
The programming for the weekend will be Wilderness Survival.
Cub Scout units attending can opt to participate in the Fall Family Event activities on the Akelaland side of camp.
Activities at Akelaland will include Fishing on 2 lakes, hikes, Gaga ball, tour of both camps, viewing of the heritage collection, and much more!
Scouts,BSA participants have the opportunity to complete the requirements for the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.
Participants working on the merit badge should review the information contained in the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge Pamphlet
and assemble a survival kit as described in the pamphlet.
Blue cards are the responsibility of the participants.
