Basic Rifle

Date - Saturday Dec. 16^th 2023

Location- Camp Minsi - Weytrex side A - 8am to 5pm

This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot 22 caliber rifles at paper targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; cartridge components; rifle malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a NRA basic Rifle Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

This is a pre-requisite for NRA Rifle Instructor Course we are planning for early in 2024.

Cost is $55.00 per person

Lunch will be provided.

Class size will be limited based on the current state social distancing guidelines. This will be a rain or shine event. Be Prepared
