Minsi Trails Council Spring 2024
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO)
This course is open to all registered Adult Leaders.
There will be virtual learning leading up to the in-person practical session. Virtual learning will be comprised of large group (live), small group (live) learning sessions. The in-person session will include overnight tent camping.
There is required online training that is a prerequisite to take this course in my.Scouting.
Virtual session:
Who: Registered Students and Staff
What: BALOO online training
When: Aril 2nd 7-8:30 pm
Where: Zoom, sign in information will be emailed to each participant prior to the session
In-person session:
Who: Registered Students and Staff
What: BALOO in person practical
When: April 12th 7pm (approx.) to April 13th 7pm (approx.)
Where: Location: Camp Minsi
The cost of the course is $35 per person which includes one night of camping and dinner Saturday evening as part of the in person, outdoor portion of this course.
No youth will be allowed at the course.
Participants will need to bring a copy of their medical form parts A/B.
